Two soldiers during a lull. I saw this image on the net and just had to paint it. I don’t know why, it seems the eye of a hurricane. This is my version of it. I used a lot of violet, though it is not obvious. I would never have thought of it, but the idea came into my head and I went with it. Glad I did. Violet goes great with the yellow-green and khaki. It is unusual, just like the situation.
