Artist Comment

The poignancy of emasculation due to choosing social acceptability. So common today. Males are often “Mummy’s good boys”, rather than men. They know/feel they want to get out/do something different – live their dream, be what they can be. But they’re too scared. Can’t lose that job. Need a new car. Mired, they are forlorn. If they could get their masculinity back, they could take off under their own steam to true green pastures.
